It was a fun night…still stealing…er, uh, I mean – asking politely — kids’ candy. Cant wait til its gone…however, I’m not mentally strong enough to trash it. Whoa is me.
Funny story…it seems I have a 4yroldtryingtofindheridentity THING going on in my home. Its SO worth a whole blog entry, but for now you’ll have to just enjoy this version. She desperately wanted to be a princess riding a unicorn (ya know, the ones where you wear it and it looks like you’re riding?) and Bubby was a knight. Perfect! Yea. No. Here we are 4 wks later and she has decided she is some kind of tomboy now. No more hair bows. No more pink. And…well, the unicorn is as girly as they come. Ugh. So, I went the TOUGH MOMMY route and said "you’ll just have to find something here!". Well, she did…and it was great! She’s a cowgirl (and so was I…just dont have any pix of it yet…). We had a blast. Its a little scary to give over control, but great to see her wanting to be her own gal, too. She rocks. And shoots…as you’ll see below. (OK, yes, our costumes had weaponry involved…dont shoot me…er, or, cut me w/sword. HA! Get over it.)
Anyway, I thought I must post a pic or 2 so you could get a good laugh…hope yours was just as fun. Notice the creativity involved in hubby’s costume…he was very hot and sweaty after walking around in his wetsuit! Funny guy!
And of course, the post Halloween loot examination (with Nana Susan). AND, Duke got his own treat as well…
Good times. Good times.
